Ganesh Puja Invitation by OPC Hyderabad-1st sept 2011

                      This is to inform all our Odia acquaintances in Hyderabad, that we are planning to conduct a Ganesh Puja Festival this year in Hyderabad on 1 September, 2011. This Celebration has a lot of importance attached to it, because this event will be a precursor to building a Hyderabad Odia community.Away from home we miss our families, friends and the Odia way of life. So we thought why not build a family here in Hyderabad, celebrate and share our happiness. 

Purpose of the Odia Puja Committee as agreed, is to foster a close group feel among all Odia's in Hyderabad. Aims of this initiative are: 

·         To meet on festivals and celebrate together

·         Enjoy a homely feeling away from our homes.

·         To build a network to assist each other in personal and professional exigencies

Kindly refer this mail as an invitation for the upcoming Ganesh Puja celebration organizing by Odia Puja Community(OPC), Hyderabad.

 

The motto behind this Ganesh Puja is not only a celebration but also a strong bondage among all the Odias present in Hyderabad.

Already 50 members & their families have agreed & attending this event happening on 1st Sept 2011.(Still more members are going to be added)
We understood the motive behind this group formation & We all committed to help this group grow high & help each other.
Circulate this information to all the Odias in your network present in Hyderabad. 
• Contribution: Nominal fee is Rs. 500.00(more or less depends on your interest) from each member for this occasion.You can transfer the amount to our account or or pay to person who has invited/referred you or directly pay on the Puja Day also. But your presence is highly important for us.

Hi Friends,

 Thank you very much all the attendees!!

This is our great honor to have you today. Though it started with a short notice you people made it a nice gathering. After long time we all felt this as “Home out of Home”. Again I thank the Belief, Spirit, Support, Participation, Co-operation and Commitment of all the members.

Here is the brief of the meeting:

1-      We agreed to organize ganesh Puja together.

2-      34 members & their families attended the meeting today.

3-      We understood the motive behind this group formation

4-      We all committed to help this group grow high.

5-      Collected Rs. 500.00 from each member (Except Few) for this occasion.

6-      Took the help of the senior members of get more high end contacts.

Next Action:

1-      Finding a suitable venue for Puja.

2-      Division of Responsibilities among the members.

3-      Finance collection, management and update.

4-       Sponsorship arrangement (If Time Permits and/or if we get any way).

5-      Arrangement and proper execution of the event.

6-      Website Design

We have some request to all the Members of this group:

1-      Kindly join the meeting on/before time. This will help everybody. Time is very important for everyone.

2-      Next time onwards- Lets come on time and complete the job within the given time limit and close for the day. Now onwards, we will give the start time and end time for everything.

3-      Kindly refer us more and more people. Lets make it big with the help of you people.

4-      Please bring your family members for every meeting/event/occasion – as we are your extended family.

5-      We will share few account details with you – We reqest all the members who have not made their payment till date, Kindly make an online transfer to those accounts accordingly. After sending the amount- kindly confirm with the member on his mobile number.

                                 This is to inform all our Odia acquaintances in Hyderabad, that we are planning to conduct a Ganesh Puja Festival this year in Hyderabad on 1 September, 2011. This Celebration has a lot of importance attached to it, because this event will be a precursor to building a Hyderabad Odia community.

So we thought why not build a family here in hyderabad, celebrate and share our happiness. This thought encouraged us to plan this festival and coming Sunday Date, we plan our first get-together at the Jagannath Temple premises in MLA Colony. Hyderabad OPC Kick-off meeting- August 7, 2011

Jai Jagannath!!

First of all we would like to congratulate all the participants, who attended the first 2011 Odia Puja Committee meeting on 7th August 2011. It was a real pleasure, meeting and exchanging views among us to organize the first event, Ganesh Puja 2011 successfully. We had some great ideas shared and there was a consensus built to celebrate this festival in our traditional Odia way.

Through this email we are trying to appraise/inform each of us about the developments and would like to assign the responsibilities agreed upon respectively. 

Purpose of the Odia Puja Committee as agreed, is to foster a close group feel among all Odia's in Hyderabad. Aims of this initiative are;

• To meet on festivals and celebrate together
• Enjoy a homely feel away from home
• To build a network to assist each other in personal and professional exigencies

Points of Focus for the Ganesh Puja 2011 are;

• Choice and Selection of Venue (TBD)
• Facilitate/Arrange the Pujaari/Priest
• Collection of initial fund amount among immediate members to kick-off the process
• Initiate, establish contact and appraise our immediate Odia Acquaintances about the developments and Event
• Kick-off of Promotion and Branding Initiatives
